Not if the migration is done properly. Before anything changes, NGN inventories every URL that currently ranks or has links pointing at it, keeps the ones that work, and permanently redirects (301) everything else, including old image URLs that Google Images has indexed. Existing page titles, descriptions and keywords are carried across. Rankings are kept by planning, not luck.
