Carrier-grade SIP trunks on Tier 1 Australian networks, connected to Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone, Webex and your desk phones, with a hosted phone system run by our engineers around the clock.
NGN delivers business voice over Tier 1 Australian carrier networks. Your SIP trunks run on our carrier-grade voice network, your numbers are hosted and ported there, and concurrent call capacity scales with your business without new lines or site visits.
Those trunks connect to whatever your people already answer on: Microsoft Teams through Direct Routing, Zoom Phone through Bring Your Own Carrier, Webex Calling, Genesys Cloud, 3CX and standards-based PBXs. One carrier and one set of numbers, on every platform.
Prefer a phone system that is looked after for you? The NGN Hosted PBX runs on our own voice platform: IVR menus, ring groups, call centre queues, voicemail to email, call recording and desk handsets that configure themselves. Our engineers have managed VoIP for more than 2,000 PBX clients, and the same team runs your network and IT support. Already invested in FreePBX, 3CX or another platform? We build around it.

Trunks, numbers, cloud calling and a hosted phone system, designed together and supported by one team.
Business SIP trunks on our carrier-grade voice network, over Tier 1 Australian carrier networks, delivered over your data link or the internet. Concurrent call capacity is sized to your peak and scaled up or down as you grow, with no new lines to install.
Keep the numbers your customers know. Geographic numbers and ranges, plus 13, 1300 and 1800 inbound numbers, ported in and pointed wherever you like, with new numbers in any state when you open a new office.
Our voice network reaches carrier interconnects over more than one path, so a single link or site failure is routed around. If your office goes offline, calls divert to mobiles, another site or voicemail automatically.
Teams Phone users make and take calls on your own numbers through Direct Routing over our SIP trunks. Teams auto attendants and call queues work as normal, and the numbers stay yours.
Bring your own carrier to the platforms that support it: Zoom Phone BYOC, Webex Calling through a Local Gateway, Genesys Cloud BYOC, and 3CX or any standards-based PBX on a plain SIP trunk.
A complete phone system on the NGN voice platform, hosted and patched by us: extensions, busy lamp fields, call park and pickup, paging, conferencing, hot desking and an operator panel, managed from one web portal.
Auto attendants, business hours and public holidays, day and night modes, follow me and call forwarding: every call lands with the right person, and after-hours calls go exactly where you choose.
Inbound queues with agent tiers, ring strategies, announcements and music on hold, plus agent log in and out, so a busy team handles peaks smoothly and every caller is answered in turn.
Every voicemail arrives in your inbox as an audio file, with an optional written transcription, so messages are read on the go and nothing waits for someone to dial in.
Record all calls or chosen ones, with recordings searchable alongside call detail records. Reports show call volumes, missed calls and queue performance, so you can staff for the peaks you actually get.
Encrypted signalling and media to handsets that support it, automatic blocking of addresses that probe the system, per-extension dialling rights and call limits, and international dialling enabled only where it is needed.
Keep your numbers on our SIP trunks and connect them to the calling platform your people prefer. Change platforms later without changing a single number.
Teams users call on your own numbers, connected through a session border controller to our SIP trunks, inside the Teams app they already use.
Zoom Phone users keep the Zoom app and your existing numbers, with calls in and out carried on SIP trunks we manage.
Webex Calling reaches the public network through a Local Gateway on your premises or ours, using your own SIP trunks and numbers.
Contact centres on Genesys Cloud keep their 1300 and 1800 numbers on a carrier of their choice, connected over SIP.
3CX, FreePBX, Asterisk, Yeastar and other standards-based PBXs on a plain SIP trunk, with failover and number porting handled. Platforms we build on.
Or let us run the phone system too: hosted, patched and monitored by NGN, with desk phones, softphones and mobile apps.

Tell us how you take calls today. We will map your numbers, platforms and handsets, and show you a clear path onto SIP and a hosted PBX.
A SIP trunk is the connection between your phone system and the public telephone network, carried over IP instead of copper or ISDN lines. It holds your phone numbers and carries every call in and out. Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom Phone can use their own calling plans, or you can bring your own carrier: your numbers stay on a SIP trunk you control, which keeps one carrier, one bill and the freedom to change platforms without changing numbers.
In most cases, yes. Geographic numbers move under Local Number Portability, and 13, 1300 and 1800 inbound numbers can be ported too, through their own process. A single number with no extra services is usually a simple port, completed within days. Number ranges and services with ISDN, line hunt or fax attached are complex ports that take longer, so we book them for a quiet cutover window and keep the old service live until the new one is answering.
Yes. Microsoft Teams Phone supports Direct Routing, which connects Teams to a carrier's SIP trunk through a session border controller. Zoom Phone offers Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC), and Webex Calling and Genesys Cloud have their own equivalents. We connect each of them to SIP trunks on our carrier-grade voice network, so your people answer in the app they already use while the numbers, call routing and billing stay with one Australian carrier.
With a hosted phone system, the PBX lives in a data centre, not in your office, so it keeps answering. Callers still hear your greeting and IVR, and calls can follow staff to their mobiles, to the Teams or softphone app, to another office or to voicemail that arrives by email. When your link comes back, desk phones re-register on their own. On our side, the voice core reaches carrier interconnects over more than one path, so a single failure is routed around.
Yes. Two-way VoIP services in Australia must provide access to the emergency numbers 000 and 106, and we register each service address in the Integrated Public Number Database (IPND) so emergency operators know where a call is coming from. Because a VoIP phone can be plugged in anywhere, tell us when a phone moves to a new address, and keep a mobile handy for emergencies during a power or internet outage.
With controls that are on from day one: strong SIP credentials, encrypted signalling and media (TLS and SRTP) to phones that support them, automatic blocking of addresses that probe or fail to register, international dialling enabled only for the extensions that need it, concurrent call limits per extension, and alerts on unusual call patterns. Fraud usually strikes after hours, so we watch the platform around the clock.
Most standards-based SIP phones. Our platform auto-provisions Yealink, Cisco Multiplatform (MPP), Poly, Grandstream, Fanvil and Snom handsets, among others, so a phone configures itself the moment it is plugged in: extensions, line keys, busy lamp fields, directory and firmware. Existing compatible handsets can usually be reused, and softphone apps cover laptops and mobiles.
Yes. We design, deploy, integrate and support phone systems built on FreePBX and Asterisk, 3CX, Yeastar, Grandstream UCM, Kamailio and other open-source and commercial platforms. That covers SIP trunks and number porting, high availability, handset provisioning, integrations with Microsoft Teams and business apps, upgrades, and migrations between platforms or onto the NGN Hosted PBX when the time is right.
We audit what you have (numbers, lines, call flows, handsets and contracts), build the new phone system alongside it, provision and test the handsets, and train your team before anything changes. Your numbers are then ported in a scheduled window, with engineers watching the first calls arrive and the old service still in place until the new one is confirmed.
Tell us your numbers, how many people take calls and what they answer on. We'll come back with a clear plan and a quote.
