What does enterprise network infrastructure include?
At NGN we cover routing and switching design, BGP and multihoming, VLAN segmentation, SD-WAN, firewall and edge security, structured cabling decisions, and storage networking. In practice it is everything between your internet handoff and the port your server plugs into.
How do I know if my network needs redesigning rather than patching?
Common signals: adding a site or a floor requires re-planning addressing; you cannot segment a network without breaking something; outages take hours to locate; or nobody can produce a current diagram. Those are structural problems, and more hardware rarely fixes them.
Do you work with our existing hardware, or do we have to replace it?
We work with what you have wherever it is capable of doing the job. Replacement gets recommended when equipment is out of vendor support, cannot be patched, or is the actual cause of the problem, and we will say which of those applies.
Can you provide redundant internet that actually works?
Yes, and the first thing we check is whether your links share physical infrastructure, because two services from two providers frequently run through the same fibre and the same exchange. Genuine redundancy means BGP with your own address space over independent physical paths.
Do you support multi-site and interstate networks?
Yes. Multi-site routing, site-to-site VPN, SD-WAN overlays and centralised policy across offices are standard work for us, including sites in different states and mixed carrier environments.
